well balanced grinding wheel is a key requirement to achieve good
grinding results. Dependant |

the system can be supplied as a sensor as shown above or for live
grinding applications a workhead mounted sensor ring can be fitted. The
unbalance is displayed on the read out and the wheel can be easily
balanced by displacing the balance weights. For multiple machine
situations only one read out system is required. |

Studer's
'Sensitron' control
unit is designed for automatic changeover from infeed to
grinding feed eliminating the inefficiency of 'Air Gap' grinding
and thus improving productivity. Thanks to this contact control unit the
set up can be simplified. The contact between the wheel and the
workpiece is monitored by the 'First cut sensor' which has a magnetic
base. |

Marposs for the measurement of both interrupted and non interrupted diameters |

match grinding unit is used for the measuring of internal diameters
where an external ground part is to be matched to the bore diameter |

integrated offering a cost effective solution which
increases productivity in a flexible environment.
Suitable for shafts and spindles up to 35mm diameter x 300mm long
the system can be fitted to the S21, 31, 36 and 40 models.
